PLC Control Cabinet with Multi-Inverter System for Sewage Treatment Application
Smart VFD-Controlled PLC Cabinet for Wastewater Automation
Weimiao recently completed the fabrication and integration of a custom PLC control cabinet with 4 independent VFD channels, designed for use in a municipal sewage treatment system. Built to support automation of pumps, aeration systems, and water circulation units, this cabinet ensures precise motor control, system reliability, and energy-efficient performance under continuous operation conditions.
This application demanded a robust solution for a humid, corrosive, and high-cycle environment—a challenge that Weimiao met with advanced fabrication, reliable component integration, and industry-certified wiring.
Built with Leading Electrical Brands for Reliability and Flexibility
The control cabinet is powered by a combination of globally recognized and high-performance electrical components, allowing for smooth PLC operation and system expandability. As a custom-built PLC control cabinet, this project reflects Weimiao’s engineering capability in delivering industrial PLC control panels designed for wastewater and harsh environmental applications.
Key components include:
4 x ABB ASC510 Variable Frequency Drives – independent motor control for wastewater pumps
DELIXI CD2 Series Circuit Breakers – compact, efficient protection for each circuit
DELIXI Air Break Switches – for main power cutoff and safe maintenance
Mean Well Switching Power Supply (Taiwan) – reliable low-voltage power source
Schneider Contactors & Relays – industrial-grade switching and safety control
Siemens SIMATIC Power Supply Module – stabilized system voltage supply
Siemens Digital I/O Module – for signal acquisition and logic processing
All internal wiring uses UL-compliant materials, with flame-retardant ducts and clear terminal labeling to support international installation standards. The PLC control cabinet was fabricated and wired in accordance with IEC-based industrial control panel practices and international wiring standards.

This entire project—from enclosure fabrication to component wiring—was completed by Weimiao’s in-house team at our ISO 9001:2015 certified facility.

Weimiao also provided detailed assembly drawings, terminal connection charts, and remote support for installation teams, ensuring the control cabinet could be quickly integrated on-site with the facility’s SCADA or PLC system.
